Jan Krömer/Evrim Sen, No Copy – Die Welt der digitalen Raubkopie

Schon ein Blick ins Inhaltsverzeichnis lässt durchschimmern, dass hier nicht wirklich weit gedacht wurde: Das erste Kapitel heißt ‘Die Geschichte der Schwarzkopie’, und fängt mit dem Stichpunkt ‘Die ersten Hacker’ an. Die Wurzeln des Urheberrechts, das sich schließlich seit seiner Entstehung immer wieder mit ‘der Schwarzkopie’ beschäftigt hat und beschäftigen musste – was wäre der Sinn eines Urheberrechts ohne die Gefahr der Schwarzkopie, die es abzuwenden gilt -, werden damit völlig ignoriert. Weder gibt es in diesem Universum Raubdrucke noch das eigenmächtige Bespielen von Kassetten, mitsamt der juristischen Regelungen, die durch letztere notwendig wurden. Wäre in die Kapitelüberschrift, wie in den Buchtitel, noch das kleine Wörtchen ‘digitale’ eingefügt worden, das ganze wäre zumindest weniger falsch. Wirklich besser würde das Buch davon nicht werden. Anti-Chomskyite über den Dalai Lama

Neingeist wünscht sich Angaben über meine drei Lieblingscomputerspiele, und ich muss passen, außer

1) cool edit
2) bloglines und
3) inkscape

werden als Spiele akzeptiert. Vor allem cool edit hat auf mich jeden Falls vergleichbare Wirkungen wie Civilization auf Classless. Aber eigentlich bin ich auch gar kein Fan von Stöckchen werfen und oute mich durch die Verweigerung des Weiterwerfens hiermit als Spielverderberin…

Nach einem Wochenende auf dem Dorf, ohne Netz und Handyempfang, zeigte mir das Netz unter anderem dies:

Ob die dortige Schlussfolgerung so zwingend ist, und was uns das z.B. über Paradise Now! sagt darf sich gerne jeder selber denken.

Zuletzt hatte ich hin und wieder den Gedanken, dass ich mich vielleicht mehr auf Kunstler-Parties rumtreiben sollte, vielleicht sind die ja gar nich so doof, vielleicht kann man sich mit denen ja lustig über Comics und Musik unterhalten oder so. Gerade eben kam dann dieser Flyer rein: und belehrte mich eines besseren. Allein die Stilbezeichnungen reichen hin, um mich von so merkwürdigen Gedanken zu kurieren: es gibt “elektro”, “elektro/minimal”, “minimal house”, “hiphop/80s elctro” (sic!), “indietronic”, “rock” und “minimal techhouse”. Brrrr.
